Born: January 23, 1937 | Died: November 17, 2025
JD Cooper, 88 of Sweetwater, formerly of Maryville, passed away Monday, November 17, 2025. He was preceded in death by his wife: Mildred Cooper, and sons: Jimmy Cooper and Wayne Cooper. He is survived by his brothers: David Cooper and William Cooper, sisters: Alice Motley and Henretta Lankford, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Memorial Funeral Home: 1102 Big Springs Road, Maryville, TN 37801, with Rev. Tommy Self and Rev. Aaron McMahan officiating. Burial will follow at Big Toqua Cemetery in Vonore. The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. on Saturday at the funeral home.
