Jean Elizabeth DeLoach Allen

ALLEN- Mrs. Jean Elizabeth DeLoach Allen age 75 of Dawson Street Brewton, Alabama passed away Saturday February 28, 2026 in a Pensacola, Florida hospital after a brief illness. She was a native of Waynesboro, Mississippi and a life long resident of Brewton, Alabama. Mrs. Allen was a member of the First Methodist Church of Brewton where she was a member of the choir and volunteered in the food pantry, a 1968 graduate of T.R. Miller High School, a graduate from Jefferson Davis Junior College Nursing program, she worked as a staff nurse for 7 years at Dr. Billy Whittles office, and was a retired staff nurse from GP with 29 years of service.

(1) Daughter- Maggie (Jeff) Peavy of Brewton, Alabama

(1) Brother- Tyson (Susan) DeLoach of Murray, Kentucky

(2) Sisters- Betty Lynn Milligan of Brewton, Alabama

Mena Deloach of Brewton, Alabama

(11) Grandchildren- Lauren (Trevor) Hendry, Sarah Katherine (Drew) Hardin, Garrett Byrd, Erika (Jess) Davis, Marissa (Keith) Bradley, Will (Justine) Davis, Madelyn Crane, Aiden (Elise) Allen, Austin Lancaster, Bryleigh Lancaster

(3) Great Grandchildren- Emmett Mealer, Keagan Bradley, Abigail Bradley

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at the First Methodist Church of Brewton.

Funeral Services are set for Thursday afternoon, March 5, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Methodist Church of Brewton with Rev. Chris Patterson and Rev. Laurie Strawbridge officiating. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery Brewton, Alabama with WILLIAMS MEMORIAL CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME OF BREWTON, ALABAMA DIRECTING.
