Jean-Charles Gariepy Obituary
May 11, 1970 – March 30, 2025
Bakersfield – Jean-Charles Gariepy born in Montreal, Canada, moving to Bakersfield, California in 1973. He attended Horace Mann, Compton, and East High (Class '88).
Jean-Charles was preceded in death by his father, Normand. He is survived by mother Christine, brother Francois, daughter Sierra and granddaughter Aiyana.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 11:00am at River Bakersfield Church, 928 17th Street, Bakersfield, CA 93301.

Rest easy, Charles. Willie and I will miss you. Thanks for being a good friend throughout the years and for coming to the rescue with jumper cables last month! Can't believe we won't see you again - you were there for William's birth and the first person he visited on the way home from the hospital. <3

I have often thought of Jean-Charles since high school. I loved his smile and his exuberant joy. He was always so kind to me. My heart aches...he will be missed. My deepest condolences to Jean-Charles' family.
