Jean Cicchinelli Obituary
WATERFORD - Jean M. Cicchinelli, 70, of Fonda Rd. passed away suddenly, Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Strong Memorial Hospital, in Rochester. Born in Troy, she was the daughter of Salvador L. Cicchinelli of Waterford, and the late Evelyn Veiga Cicchinelli. She was a 1974 graduate of Shenendehowa High School, and received her nursing degree from Samaritan Hospital School of Nursing.
Jean had been employed for 18 years as a Registered Nurse at the office of John O'Bryan M.D. in Troy, and retired in 2023. Prior to that she had been employed at St. Mary's/Seton Hospital.
Jean was a communicant of St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Waterford. In her free time, she enjoyed crocheting, knitting, quilting and making hook rugs.
In addition to her father; she is survived by her siblings, James F. Cicchinelli (Barbara), of Waterford, Salvadore Cicchinelli (Nancy), of Grafton and Carol Cicchinelli, of Waterford. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be Thursday, 9:30 a.m., from the Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad St. (Rte. 32), Waterford, and at 10 a.m., at St. Mary of the Assumption Church. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Waterford.
Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m.
