On the 20th day of remembrance of 9/11, I just wanted to express my deepest sympathies to Jean Marie's family / friends. Although I did not know her, I was a fellow Pfizer colleague at the time, working at a distribution facility in Elk Grove Village, IL. Never forget! God bless.

I was at my 1st grade when 9/11 happened. As a Pfizer colleague now, I hear so many good things about you, Ma'am Jean Marie Collin. You are such an an inspiring person and on this 20th anniversary of 9/11, we would like to commemorate your life and significant contributions to the company. I am sure that Pfizer would never be the same without you. Sending love to your family, friends and colleagues.

17 years later, we have not forgotten you, Jean. Your classmates from St. Vincent Ferrer High School are thinking of you today. Many of us watch as your name is read at the Memorial, and we share your picture, and pray for you and your family.

When I heard Jean's name mentioned at the memorial today, once again I was saddened to recall the circumstances that caused the loss of Jean and all the other hard working innocent New York workers and rescuers that day. I have fond remembrances of Jean at Pfizer.

I sat near Jean Marie in high school, separated by Jeanne Clancy and Viviak Cok. I remember Jean Marie well because she always had a happy smile on her face.
She must be resting comfortably in heaven, at peace with all the sound earthly decisions that she made while here in the earth school. But we, who remain for a while, miss her beautiful presence.

On September 11th 2011 I thought of you as I do every year on that day. My cousin, who I had so much in common with....our names were almost the same, we were born just days apart, we both had homes in the catskill mountains and we both lived our lives in a happy and positive way. You were in that building that day because God planned it that way. I often asked myself why - but only He knows. God bless you and keep you Jeannie. ALWAYS, your cousin Jean Ann

I went to school with Jean in St Emeric She was like an angel we were just kids this was in the 60s. I just found out dear Lord why? I looked her up after 40 years. I will look for her again in heaven when its my turn. Her beauty was out of this world. God needed a princess by his side. I was fortunate to have been in school with her as a child. Thank you Jean..

Just after 9/11 our church had everyone pick a name and pray for that person, I picked Jean and I have been praying for her every day since. I thought I'd look up her name and see if I could find out anything on her - I found this - it is so nice to get to "know" the person I have been praying for - it will make the prayer more meaning full now. May she rest in peace.

I was in the class of '76 with Jean at St. Vincent Ferrer High School.
But it was through my husband who works at Pfizer that I heard the awful news. I wish I knew about this site sooner so I could have conveyed my deepest sympathy to her family. I still remember how sweet she was. May she rest in peace.

I am Jeannie's niece. I just came across this website, and I wanted to thank all of you for your warm thoughts and sentiments. Some of you know my family, and others are kind strangers.
Jeannie was not only my Aunt, but a second mother and confidant to me and my brother. She was an extremely important part of our family, and was loved so dearly. We will never forget her, her warm laughter, and beautiful smile. Thank you so much. Jeannie would be honored by this website and your kind words.

To Jean's Family and Friends,
I wanted to let you know that I continue to wear the wristband with Jean's name on it. I wear it every day and think of you and Jean.
Having lost a child myself, I understand the agony, pain and emptiness that never goes away.
May God's peace be with you and may you find comfort in knowing that your daughter, sister, friend will never be forgotten.
With love,
Rose.

We were a close knit bunch in Stuy Town. You were a few years behind me in St. Emeric's, but we were all like a family. My heart goes out to your family and friends. Even though it's been many years since we've seen each other, I still remember your sparkling eyes and beautiful smile, and that will forever be my memory of you. Rest easy and know that your spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved you.

I received Jean's name band as a gift from a friend. She did not know that Jean was a Risk Manager for Pfizer when she gave it to me. "Coincidently", I am a Risk Manager, too.
I want her family to know that not one day goes by when I do not wear her name on my wrist with pride. I tell this story and the "coincidence" surrounding it to all I meet.
I want her family to be reassured that Jean will not be forgotten. I can feel her presence with me even though I never met her.
My thoughts and prayers are with you always. Somehow, I feel connected to you and wanted you to know that your daughter, sister, and friend is with me everyday, as she is with you.
With my deepest love,
Rose (Marie).

I have known Jean for as long as I had worked at Pfizer. She also would come and cheer the Chemical/Food Science softball team to victory. My memories of Jean was of a very loving and caring person. She always had a smile on her face when you saw her. I will always remember her with those beautiful blue eyes.

America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn

I am also a time served 35 years
Pfizer insurance/risk manager working in Pfizer England. I have worked and known Jean for many years and indeed when she visited our site it was always a pleasure to show her
around and exchange/network what
was going on. The shock of the news
is only just beginning to fade because of our close communication.
I keep coming across Jeans emails
which always remind me of the pleasure of working with Jean and her humour.
Will miss her and her support for
our site in the UK.....I extend
my warmest regards to her family and friends from her friends in the UK..
