She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 62 years, Wayne Craighead; son, Nicky Craighead; and granddaughter, Angie Harrell.
Jean is survived by her daughter, Kathy Schira (husband, Ron); her grandchildren, Tiffany (spouse, Whitney Kirk) and Shannon (husband, Jared Hadden); great-grandchildren, Taylor, Brayden, Mikinzie, Erycka, Rebecca, Hunter, Mady and Harleigh; several great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, October 2, 2025 at Chapel Hill Mausoleum.
Jean will be remembered for her deep faith, warm smile and the love she showed everyone she met.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jean's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
