Jean A Crandall, age 70 of Appleton, WI passed away on March 22nd 2026 at Apple Creek Place unexpectedly. Jean was born on January 17, 1956 in Fairbury, Illinois. She was the daughter of Mary Ellen and James Alexander Crandall.
Jean is survived by her partner, Jorel Krause (Manitowoc, WI); her honorary grandchildren, Paul (Ken) Johnson (Franklin Park, IL), Penny (Nathan) Johnson (Menasha, WI); her honorary great-grandchildren, Faith and Owen Johnson (Menasha, WI); her siblings, Patricia Olson (Channing, MI) and Randy Crandall (Ashkum, IL); and her sister-in-law, Brenda Crandall (Peyton, CO). Jean is also survived by many nieces and nephews and her fur baby, Dexter. Jean will also be missed by her best friends, Bonnie (Carl) Johnson (Sagola, MI) and Diane MacFadyen (Iron Mountain, MI)
Jean was preceded by her parents, Mary Ellen and James Alexander Crandall; her brother, Daniel Crandall; and her partner of 18 years, Ralph Bogdan.
Jean’s family plans to have a celebration of life at a later date.
Jean’s family would like to thank the staff at Apple Creek Place and hospice staff of St. Croix for everything they have done in taking care of her.
