Jean Desir Obituary

Biography of Jean Jackson Desir

Sunrise: November 22, 1960

Sunset: November 1, 2025

Jean Jackson Desir was born on November 22, 1960, in Gros Maren, Haiti to the late Jean Claude Desir and Esta Orisma. As the oldest of seven children, Jean naturally grew into the role of protector and leader of his family. From a young age, he learned the value of hard work, faith, and love values that guided him throughout his life.

Jean married his beloved wife, Marie Celene Hubert, and together they raised a beautiful and loving family. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who cherished every moment spent with those he loved most. He especially enjoyed being with his grandchildren, taking them to church, showering them with love, and making every birthday feel like a personal holiday.

Jean was known for his incredible work ethic. He was a talented kamyon truck driver in Haiti and proudly continued driving trucks after moving to the United States. No matter how long or demanding the day, he never once complained. Providing for his family brought him joy, and he carried his responsibilities with humility and strength.

Jean’s heart was truly one of a kind. He was loving, funny, and generous to the core, the type of man who would give you his very last if you needed it. His presence brought comfort. He was the reliable one, the advisor, the mediator, the person everyone could call when they needed encouragement or guidance. He loved deeply and showed it through action.

Faith was the foundation of Jean's life. A dedicated member of his church, he attended every Sunday with pride and purpose. He stood firm in his belief in God and lived in a way that reflected his gratitude, kindness, and strong spirit.

Jean peacefully transitioned on November 1, 2025, wrapped in love and faith. He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving wife, his children and grandchildren, his siblings, nieces and nephews, and many dear friends who will forever feel the impact of his presence.

Jean will be remembered for his unwavering love, joyful laughter, and generous heart. His legacy lives on in every life he touched and every lesson he shared. Though he is no longer here with us physically, his spirit remains; a light that will never fade.

A visitation will be held on Friday November 14,2025 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m at Haisley Tribute Center, 2041 Southwest Bayshore Boulevard in Port Saint Lucie, Florida, 34984.

The funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Eglise Haitienne Bethanie De L'Alliance Church, located at 230 Southwest North Wakefield Circle, Port St. Lucie, FL 34953. Burial will follow immediately at Rolling Oaks Cemetery, 2200 Southwest Del Rio Boulevard, Port St. Lucie, FL 34953.

Biographie de Jean Jackson Désir

Soleil levant: 22 novembre 1960

Soleil couchant: 1er novembre 2025
