Jean Dillner Obituary

Jean was a long-time member of the League of Women Voters, and a volunteer at the Proviso Pantry for over 30 years. She was very civic minded, and volunteered as a Court Watcher. She and Charles loved traveling, especially visiting the National Parks of the United States and Canada in their Jayco pop-up camper. The highlight of their travels took them to visit her lifelong pen pal in Australia.
Interment will be at 11 AM on Thursday, July 17, 2025 at Elm Lawn Memorial Park, 401 E Lake St, Elmhurst, IL 60126. A Celebration of Life for Jean will be held at Beacon Hill Retirement Community, 2400 S. Finley Rd. Lombard, IL 60248, at a future date to be determined. In lieu of flowers, Memorials to Proviso Pantry C/O River Forest United Methodist Church, 7970 Lake Street, River Forest, IL 60305. Funeral info: 630-932-1500.

Ron and I send our deepest sympathies to you, Laura and your entire family. I have many fond memories of your family gathering at Beacon Hill....such love for your Mom and each other always on display. May all this memories help you at this time and moving forward.
