Jean Marie Drew passed away peacefully, at home, on December 13, 2025, at the age of 79. She dedicated 35 years of her life of service to the federal government, retiring as a purchasing agent.

Jean was born on March 2, 1946, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was the youngest of three daughters born to Milton and Virginia Schultz, the precious baby of the family who entered their lives as an angel. She remained so her entire life. She had the gift of bestowing love and kindness to all that crossed her path.

She enjoyed shopping, listening to music, genealogy and spending time with her friends and family - especially going out to eat, attending shows and Broadway plays and visiting casinos. A devoted football fan, she proudly cheered on the New Orleans Saints. Jean was also a remarkable 30-year kidney transplant survivor, a testament to her strength, resilience and gratitude for life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Virginia Schultz; her former husband, Roy Talbott; her sister, Delores Spinelli (Ron); and brother-in-law, Andy Mimnaugh.

Jean is survived by her loving husband, Joseph Drew; her son, Jeff Talbott (Pamela); her daughter, Paula Parsons; her sister, Barbara Mimnaugh, of PA; her granddaughter, Jimi Brew (Ed); her grandson, Tyson Broyles (Marissa); and three great grandchildren. She is also survived by her nieces, Nicola Mimnaugh (Edward), Andrea Mimnaugh (Michael), Susan Luma (Terry), Sandi Braungart (Paul), and Jeannie Saul (Victor); her nephew T.J. Luma (Gary); and several great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on O’Neal Road in Gulfport on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at 11:00 am. Friends may visit from 10:00 am until service time. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
