Jean Falce

1929 - 2021

Jean (Berkovitz) Falce, 91, formerly of North Versailles, died peacefully in her home surrounded by her loved ones, and her favorite cat, Stewie, Saturday, May 30, 2021. She spent the last nine years living with her daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughter. Jean was the wife of the late Reynold Falce; loving mother of Lisa (Carl) Tuscan and the late Lori (surviving Tom) Wratcher; grandmother of Gina Tuscan (Greg Buchko). She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Louise Berkovitz. Jean was also sister of Rena (late Robert) Hanks; dear aunt of Bryan (Linda) Hanks and Robin (late Robert) Bowen; nene to Justyn (Ashley) Hanks, Kristen (Greg) Stanonik, Lauren (Steve) Likar, Ambur (Kyle) Schaefer and Brett (Brice Jenkins) Bowen; and their children. She was also survived by her sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, and nieces and nephews. Everyone was always welcome at her house, and you were guaranteed a great meal. She loved to spend time with her family. One of her favorite holidays was Christmas Eve and having the feast of the seven fishes with her family. The family would like to thank Angels for the Elderly and Gallagher Hospice. Thanks to Jean's loving caregivers, Renee, Bobbi, Kathy, her nurse's aide, Jocelyn, and her amazing nurse, Kimmy. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jean's name to Hillman Cancer Center for Breast Cancer Awareness. Jean was a breast cancer survivor. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Robert Bellarmine Church of Mary Mother of God Parish. Everyone please meet at the church.
