Jean Marie Golden, 78, of Binghamton, NY, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2025 surrounded by her family.
She is survived by her beloved children, Michelle (John) Stoll, Maria (Michael) Papa, and Stephen (Lisa Rosh) Golden-Thomas; her cherished grandchildren, Nicole, Joshua, Kara, Kaylee, Stephanie, Shyanna, Michael, Abigail, and Elizabeth; twelve great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Sherman (Judy) Golden, Boyd (Rita) Golden, Richard (Josanne) Golden, and Darryl Gilmer, along with several nieces and nephews.
Jean was predeceased by her siblings, Donna Swingle, Susan Hayes, Gerald Golden, and Stanley Golden, and by her brother-in-law, Fred Swingle.
Jean will be remembered as a kind and giving person who was always ready to help those in need. She was a devoted member of the First United Methodist Church of Chenango Bridge. After retiring, she continued her life of service as a home health aide and as a foster grandparent at Calvin Coolidge, where she shared her warmth and compassion with everyone she met.
A celebration of her life will be held 11:00 am Saturday December 6, 2025, at First UMC of Chenango Bridge Church (740 River Rd Binghamton NY 13901). Visitation will be from 10:00-10:50AM prior to the service. Inurnment will follow at Kattelville Cemetery.
