Jean Haderer bears an strong resemblance to my aunt, Joan Ward (nee Knapp), who was also raised in Irvington. Jean was also my paternal grandmother's name. I recall that my paternal grandfather, Raleigh Thomas Knapp, Sr., had 4 brothers.
I suspect there is a family connection here as I, too, grew up in NJ, specifically Neptune. I have no recollection of ever having met Jean.
