I was wondering why I hadn't received Jean's Christmas letter for a while...and its been on my mind that I should reach out. I found out yesterday that she passed and started to tear up in the middle of a work meeting. I just thought that she was busy, as I she always was. And I was busy, as we all are. So, I'm very sad to hear this news and reach out with belated condolences. I worked with Jean from 93 to 96 and we stayed in touch for many years, making it a point to get together in between Seattle and Tacoma. Even thought it might have been a year between visits, it was always like no time had passed. Sad that I won't have the opportunity to do that again.

I worked with Jean at Tacoma Public Utilities for many years, took many coffee and lunch breaks together. She was a wonderful friend and I know she will be sorely missed. Goodbye my friend, save me a place at the all you can eat buffet

Jean was a kind and intelligent woman, and a wonderful former Tacoma neighbor. I was so sad to learn of her passing.
