Jean P. King, age 101 of Adairville, Kentucky passed away Friday, September 26, 2025 at Creekwood Nursing and Rehab in Russellville. She was born in Russellville, Kentucky on November 29,1923 to the late Eugene W. Parker and Addie Mae Dorris Parker. She taught at Adairville Elementary School for 48 years. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Dan King, brother James Jefferson Parker, and sister Janie Barnett. She is survived by:

Funeral Services for Jean P. King will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Monday, October 6, 2025 at Summers and Son Funeral Home with Bro. Carl Freudenthal officiating with burial to follow in Adairville's Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation Monday at the funeral home will be held from 10:00 am until the service hour of 2:00 pm.

Memorial donations may be made to the Red River Meeting House, 2459 Trimble Road, Adairville, KY 42202
