Jean Kleis Obituary
Jean is survived by her son Kurt and daughter-in-law Mary of Danbury; her granddaughters Katy and Kristin; her nieces, Kim Barrows, Chelle Miklos and Allison Chatfield. She was predeceased by her husband, Jacob ("Jack") Kleis and her sister, Judith (Weed) Chatfield.
Friends may call on Saturday, November 16, 2024 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am in the front narthex of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 208 Newtown Avenue, Norwalk. A celebration of life service will follow at 11:00 am. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. The Hoyt- Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory has been entrusted with arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to "Spike's K9 Fund".

As Jack and Jean's financial planner for 40 years, it was an honor and pleasure to know and work with both of them. They were both always kind, considerate, pleasant, appreciative...the type of people the world needs more of....I will miss my yearly visits to the house.
