75, of Johnston, passed away on Monday, April 29, 2024 at HopeHealth Hospice, Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Carmine A. Iacone. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Luigi and Modesta (Mignanelli) Marzilli.
Jean held her Master’s Degree in Education from Roger Williams University. She worked as an educator for the Cumberland School Department at both Garvin Memorial School and Community School before retiring.
Jean is survived by her loving sons, Jason Iacone, Matthew Iacone and his wife Ashley, and Michael Iacone; cherished grandson Theodore Iacone and step-granddaughters Sophia and Aria Hughes. She was also the sister of Luigi Marzilli, Jr. and the late Anellina Cherella.
VISITING HOURS will be held on Thursday, May 2nd from 4:00 – 7:00 pm in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston. Funeral procession from the funeral home will begin on Friday, May 3rd at 10:00 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
