Walter/Bette Johnson, Amarillo, TX, and Drew/Becky Johnson, Dallas, TX, extend our deepest heartfelt expressions to Langston and his family. As the song goes: "There's girls, there's women, and there's ladies." Jean McNice was a Lady! Winter Park, Colorado, will never be the same without her smiling countenace on the slopes.

Dear McNice Family,
I just wanted to drop you a note to tell you how sorry I was to hear about Mrs. McNice. During my youth days in Richmond, Mrs. McNice was always so friendly. I can't remember her without a smile on her face. I enjoyed playing tennis with Cathy during our Monacan days and Mrs. McNice was always very accommodating. She will be missed by a very loving and close family. My deepest and heartfelt sympathy to Mr. McNice, Cathy, and Susan. May the Lord give you peace during this time.
Love,

Dear Langston, Susan and Cathy,
There are just no words to describe the sorrow and helplessness so many of us have felt that this awful disease happened to Jean. Jean was beautiful inside and out, so very special, so loved by all and always so full of fun. I think of our fun "sewing group", SuperBowl, Luminaria and all other excuses we found to have gatherings all those years in Briarwood, Jean gave us all such fun. I know how your hearts are aching, and I am so sorry for you all, as I know how devoted she was to her family. So many of us will truly more than miss her.

Mrs. McNice,
You have been a friend to our family for a very long time and you will be sorely missed. Your smile, your kindness and even your crazy practical jokes enriched the lives around you. May you find eternal rest in the arms of our heavenly Father.
