Jean Ann Parks passed from this life on her 62nd birthday, October 21, 2025. Jean lived a full and joyful life marked by her generosity, humor, and unwavering love for family, friends, and animals.
Jean had a special connection with her dogs and all creatures great and small. She loved to laugh, enjoyed a good joke, and had a lighthearted spirit that made everyone around her feel at ease. A true fan of the spooky and suspenseful, she loved horror movies and a good Stephen King novel, always ready for a jump scare or a thrilling plot twist.
Creative and independent, Jean enjoyed sewing, quilting, and making tea dolls, each crafted with care and personality. Her home was a reflection of her vibrant style and love of color, beautifully decorated for every season and especially during the holidays, when she transformed her house and yard into festive works of art.
Jean's kindness and generosity knew no bounds. She accepted everyone without judgment and lived with a heart full of compassion. Whether tending to her flower garden, sharing an encouraging word, or helping someone in need, she lived out her belief that "it's just a bump in the road" and that "God's got this."
She loved shopping for unique finds at thrift stores, discovering treasures on Amazon, and spending time with loved ones playing board games or chatting over a cup of coffee. Jean was also an avid reader, finding both excitement and inspiration in suspenseful stories and the uplifting words of Joyce Meyer.
Above all, Jean was the glue that held her family together, always keeping everyone connected and included. Her vibrant personality, positive spirit, and big heart will continue to inspire all who knew her.
Jean never said goodbye-only, "See ya later."
She is survived by her loving husband of 19 years, Curtis Parks; daughter Diana Hale and son Christopher Rowland; grandsons Samuel and Shayne Eds; sister Annie Klein; Brooke Hill, her caring and helpful niece; and her fur baby Charlie, the mini schnauzer.
Jean is preceded by mother Gloria Bonita Jean Harp Quane and father Sammy Nelson Harp.
