Jean Marie Sheffo passed away Saturday, November 19, 2022, in Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital. She was born February 5, 1938, in Bentleyville, a beloved daughter of the late Anthony F. and Jean E. Skerbetz.
Mrs. Sheffo was a 1955 graduate of Bentleyville High School.
She loved being with her family, baking and reading. She also loved animals, especially dogs. She cherished and loved the time she spent with her grandchildren.
She leaves behind two sons, Mark Sheffo and Bradley Sheffo; and five grandchildren, Sarah (Devon) Horsley, Mason, Catherine, Monica and Natalie.
Mrs. Sheffo was preceded in death by a son, Dr. Gregory S. Sheffo; and her husband, Peter A. Sheffo.
She had an amazing spirit and strength and will be sadly missed. She will be forever in our hearts.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, December 1, in Greenlee's Bentleyville Funeral Home, 619 Main Street, Bentleyville, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, December 2, with Pastor Sheldon Barnett officiating. Interment will follow in Beallsville Cemetery.
