I worked with her at Lake Mary center,I was just a teen ager. But she always had a funny laugh and was very kind to me .And cared deeply about children there. I´m 63 now but never forgot her.She made a great impact on the world. Julie Huettenmueller

Jean was a very sweet lady. So sorry she lost her battle with cancer. Sorry didn't see this until after services. Roger our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I first met the Shipman's in 1991. My first memory would have to be sitting down to Jean's 7-bean soup and cornbread for supper. I was right at home. Annette and I visited Paola more than any other place in subsquent years. And Jean and Roger came to Beaumont and Denton (Texas) a lot. We were traveling home from Paola when Hurricanes Katrina and Rita hit in 2005. We have and will continue to miss them and love our memories of Jean. May God bless this family at this time. All love always, Philip and Annette Thomison, Denton,TX.
