Jean Marie Summerville

Jean Marie Summerville, 88, of Texas City, Texas, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2026, surrounded by family. She was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, on May 28, 1937, to Nellie and Anthony Rigazio.

Jean was a member of St. Mary of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church and belonged to several civic organizations in her community, including the Lions Club, Twins Club, and the Jaycettes. She had a passion for traveling the world and loved her family, often encouraging them to "live your dreams."

Jean is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 60 years, Leslie "Les" L. Summerville Jr.; and her sister, Betty Hayes.

She is survived by her daughter, Debbie DuBois (Aaron); sons, Kenneth Summerville, Robert Summerville, and Richard Summerville; five grandchildren, Lauren DuBois (Joe), Stephanie DuBois, Christopher Summerville (Santia), Tiffany Summerville, and Ashley Summerville; niece, Linda Manning; nephew, Ronald Hayes; sister-in-law, Joan Wright; and special friends, Ginny Henderson and Theo Henderson.

She was the love and light of our lives. 'Til the end of time, we love you very much.

Visitation will be held at James Crowder Funeral Home in La Marque, Texas, on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
