She worked as an efficient secretary for a certified public accountant, a role she embraced with dedication until her retirement. Jean's meticulous nature and organizational skills were hallmarks of her professional life. Beyond her career, Jean was a woman of many passions. She held a special love for the outdoors, particularly through her fondness for airboating. Her airboat, affectionately named "GRITS" - an acronym for "Girls Raised In The South" - was a testament to her roots and her adventurous spirit. Friends and family will fondly remember the joy she found on those waters, embodying the freedom and excitement of her beloved pastime. Jean's kindness touched the lives of those who knew her, and her warm spirit will be greatly missed. She is preceded in death by her mother, Jean Myers, and her brother, Scott Myers, who welcomed her into eternal rest. Graveside services will be held at a later date, providing an opportunity for family and friends to come together to honor her legacy.
