Mrs. Jean Bennett
Wilbanks, age 74, of Curra-
hee Circle, Toccoa, passed
away Friday, Oct. 18, 2024
at The Overlook Toccoa.
A daughter of the late
Clyde Bennett and Agnes
Adams Bennett, she was
born Sept. 21, 1950 in
Stephens County, Georgia,
where she lived all her
life. She owned and operat-
ed Jean's Beauty Shop for
40 years. She was a mem-
ber of Carnes Creek Bap-
tist Church. She loved her
family, was a friend to
many people, and loved to
camp. Her hobbies includ-
ed gardening and canning.
In addition to her par-
ents, she was preceded in
death by her husband,
Doug Wilbanks, sister,
Barbara Williams and by
two brothers, David Ben-
nett and Max Bennett.
Survivors include a son
and daughter-in-law, Tim
and Stephanie Wilbanks of
Toccoa; daughter, Tammy
Wilbanks of Toccoa;
grandchildren, Dylan and
Madison Wilbanks and
Dustin and Savanna
Wilbanks both of Toccoa.
Graveside service Sat-
urday, Oct. 26, 2024, 2 p.m.
at Carnes Creek Baptist
Church Cemetery with the
Rev. Roger Whiten offici-
ating. The following gen-
tlemen will serve as pall-
bearers; Dylan Wilbanks,
Dustin Wilbanks, Travis
Williams, Tony Williams,
Bryon Bennett and Corey
Bennett.
The family will receive
friends at the Acree-Davis
Funeral Home on Friday
from 4-6 p.m. and on Satur-
day from 12:30-1:30 p.m.
