Mrs. Jeanette Brumbelow Barnette

Mrs. Jeanette Barnette, age 89, of Dallas, Georgia passed away on July 12, 2025 in Austell, Georgia.
Mrs. Barnette was born May 15, 1936 in Rome, Georgia to Mr. Clyde Darrell Brumbelow and Mrs. Emmie Alice Baker Brumbelow. She has been married to Mr. Preston Barnette for many years. She retired from the city of Dallas as City Tax Clerk. Before that, she retired from Atlanta Gas Light. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many. She played piano in church for many years.
Mrs. Barnette was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Darrell (Emmie Alice Baker) Brumbelow.
She is survived by: Husband, Mr. Preston Barnette; Sons, Mr. Terry Barnette (Cathy) and Mr. Barry Barnette (Kim); Daughters, Ms. Sheila Benefield and Mrs. Cindy Morris (Terry); Grandchildren, Brandi Barnette, Laura Robinson, Cade Shipp, Taylor Raines, Ansley Stanton, Ethan Morris and Felicia Morris; Great Grandchildren, Launa Raines, Scarlett Raines, Anslee Meadows, Logan Pursley, Kendall Stanton, Silas Stanton and Easton Morris; Brother, Mr. Billy Brumbelow.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Jeanette Barnette will be held Tuesday, July 15, 2025, 3:00 P.M. at Benson Funeral Home. Rev. Todd Tibbitts will officiate.
Interment will follow at Dallas Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be Tuesday, July 15, 1:00-3:00 P.M. at Benson Funeral Home.
Flowers will be accepted. Please no lilies due to allergies.
