Jeanette Cormany

Funeral services for Jeanette Cormany, age 79, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at Mt. Olive Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Jimmy Wright officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Ms. Cormany was born on April 27, 1946, in Wrightsville, Georgia. She was a retired secretary with the Communications Workers of America and attended Mt. Olive Church of the Nazarene and Wrightsville Church of the Nazarene. She was a loving, kind, and giving person. She had a smile that was contagious. She enjoyed cooking, loved shopping, especially thrift shops, loved her family, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Keith Doolittle and Gertrude Copeland Doolittle; brother, G.C. Kersey; and sisters, Eva Pearl Green, Iva Lee Johnson, Mattie Lord and Mary Bethel. Ms. Cormany passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at Greenwood Place.

She is survived by her son, Ken (Allison) Haney of Cumming; daughter, Angela Haney of Adrian; 2 sisters, Wanell Miller of Grovetown and Annette (Billy) Claxton of Wrightsville; 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Brian Garnto, Ben Garnto, Baily Owens, Bobby Bethel, Steve Rushing, and Garry Johnson.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. to 10:45 A.M. Wednesday at the church prior to the funeral service. The family will gather for a meal at the church social hall after the service.
