Jeanette E. Novicky, 96, of Harwinton, CT passed away on April 21, 2023 after a brief illness. She was born in Johnson City, New York on December 17, 1926, the only daughter in a family with seven brothers. She was married to Ladislav Novicky for 60 years.
She relocated to Harwinton, CT in 2009 and became involved in the Wintergreen Senior Living Community and the Harwinton Senior Center, where she sang with the "Harwintones" choir, enjoyed bingo, and many lunch bunch outings with her special friends.
She was predeceased by her husband Ladislav, and two sons-in-law Eugene Moore and Edward Hobson, and six brothers.
Jeanette is survived by her daughters Linda Moore, Harwinton, CT, Judy Seabridge, Nevada City, CA and Lori Beckmann (Richard) of Gold River, CA. Three grandchildren, Christopher Moore (Claudine) of Burlington, CT, Jennifer Smith (Patrick) of Venice, FL and Kristen Hemenway (Jeff), of Elk Grove, CA. Two great grandchildren Marisa Morris (Jaron), of Coral Springs, FL, and Dustin Smith of Venice, FL., and one brother, James Vandermark, of Maine, NY as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be private. Memorial contributions in Jeanette's name can be made to the Harwinton Senior Center, 209 Weingart Road, Harwinton, CT. O6791
