I Love, Love Jeanette Schaffer... This was really a hard one for me. I cared for her at IG, every-time she would see me or I come on to my shift she'd yell "She's here, oh thank God, you are here!" Then tell me all about her day, Schaffer was something else. I would just make her night and she mines. She was resilient, warm and funny. She had plenty love to give and much hell to rise, lol!!! I loved it all, I was there for it all. She knew a lot, because she lived a lot. She was gutsy and kind. Loved her sports, loved her students. I wish I had the pleasure to be one of your students or better yet your friend... It was a short year but a good year. You will never be forgotten, always a place in my heart. I will always Love you, Schaffer.
I know you are at peace and God got you, you are loved, most of all, by me :) TS

Penny - I'm so sorry to see this. What a long and wonderful life your Mom lived and she had such an impact on literally thousands of students over the years. I know she's dancing in her big Flyers slippers somewhere again. I'll always remember her fondly; she welcomed me always and treated me like family in our early years which I appreciated so much. Thinking of you all with deepest sympathies. xo
