Jeanette Bertha Vianna, was born in Horton Township on Sunday, August 8 1926 at 8:50 a.m. As the doctor said, "Just in time to go to church".. She was the only child of Alma (Henricks) and Emil Busack. She was baptized and confirmed into the Lutheran Faith. She was united in marriage to Solon Scribner on September 26, 1945 at Faith Lutheran Church. She and Solon became farmers in Framnas Township until 1953, at which time they sold their farm and moved into the city of Morris. Jeanette became employed at the Morris Public School and for the next 33 years she watched many children come and go. She enjoyed each and every year she was employed. After she retired, she and Solon started going to the Morris Senior Center for meals. Somehow she was talked into becoming Treasurer of the Morris Senior Club, a position she held from the spring of 1999 until the spring of 2007. In her spare time she crocheted afghans for every member of her family and for friends. She crocheted around 40 - 45 afghans total. In 2007, Jeanette and her daughter Linda took a 16 day bus tour of the East Coast. It was a dream come true. Jeanette had always wanted to visit Gettysburg and the surrounding area. She and other members of her family went on many shorter trips, like to the Black Hills, Eureka Springs, Ark., Springfield, IL to visit Lincoln's home, to Grand Forks, ND to visit one of her precious grandchildren and his family. Family always meant everything to her. "NOBODY" had kids, grandkids and great-grandkids like she did, they were "ALWAYS" the best.

Jeanette is survived by her son: Gordon Scribner of Morris; daughters: Linda Ley of Minneapolis and Sally (Kevin) Iverson of Osakis; grandchildren: Kristi (Von) Brandenburg of Blaine, Jason (Traci) Scribner of Grand Forks, ND, Jeremy (Ashley) Scribner of Alexandria, Kyya (Jamie) Iverson of Alexandria and Keilah Iverson of Osakis; ten great-grandchildren: Soleena and Owen Brandenburg of Blaine, Andrew, Matthew, Joshua and Luke Scribner of Grand Forks, ND, Ethan, Christian and Brookelyn Scribner of Alexandria and Hailey Iverson of Alexandria. Jeanette is also survived by one brother-in-law: Loa Scribner of Mankato; one sister-in-law: Lucille Scribner of Morris and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband of 58 ½ years, Solon Scribner and her parents: Alma and Emil Busack.
