Jeanette was a beloved presence in her community and an exceptional tour guide on St. Charles Main Street for more than 30 years, where her gift for storytelling brought local Missouri history and frontier legends vividly to life. She had a special love for reading to children, sharing her warmth, imagination, and knowledge with generations of young listeners. Jeanette was a devoted and longtime member of St. Peter Catholic Church, where she made many treasured friends at the Quilting Club and St. Anne Sodality. Affectionately known as “Granny”, she adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and delighted in spending time with them, especially during visits to the Botanical Gardens and the St. Louis Zoo. Jeanette was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all who had the joy of knowing her.
Memorials may be made in Jeanette's name to St. Vincent de Paul at St. Peter Catholic Church.
