Jeanette "JJ" (Jackson) Silbaugh, 69, of New Salem, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at home on February 10, 2026.

She was born November 30, 1956 in Uniontown, PA.

A lifelong resident of Fayette County, Jeanette was known for her strong spirit, generous heart, and deep love for her family and horses.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James M. Silbaugh Silbaugh; her parents, Bertie and Edward George Jackson Sr.; her sister, Lucille Hill; and her brothers, Edward G. Jackson II, William James Jackson, and Robert Keith Jackson; nephew William Hill Jr.; niece Stephanie Czesnowski.

She is survived by her step-daughter Jeanine Silbaugh Butner and son-in-law Isaac Butner; step-granddaughter Erin Silbaugh; great-grandchildren Oliver Quinn and Jordan Silbaugh; stepchildren Noreen, Jamie, and Geralyn; her brother, Donald Wayne Jackson; her sister, Alana M. Jackson-Tunforss (Larry); brother-in-law William Hill Sr.; nieces/caregivers Adria Lynn Logan and sons Raymond and Ryan and Kelly Hill and daugters Claire and Lila Reozzoly and many more nieces and nephews and friends.

Jeanette and her husband proudly owned and operated Lazy S Riding Stable in Farmington, where she shared her lifelong passion for horses with the community. She was also the former owner of the Chalk Hill Motel.

She loved searching for antiques and unique treasures and donated several meaningful pieces to Fort Necessity, reflecting her appreciation for local history. She loved shopping and her dog Lucy Mae.

Jeanette will be remembered for her determination, humor, and generous spirit. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, HOPWOOD on Monday February 16 from 11am until the hour of the funeral service at 2pm with Pastor Ronald Hickle officiating. Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
