Jeanie Latham

Jeanie Latham, 76, entered eternal life on December 1, 2025 at Reid Health in Richmond, IN.
She was born in Hartford City on April 15, 1949 to Alfred M. Fights and Colleen (Hurst) Fights. Her father and stepmother Viola Fights precedes her in death.
Jeanie retired from Indiana Glass in 1990 after 17 years. She was a member of the American Flint Glass Workers Union AFL-CIA Local #501.
She was a huge Elvis fan. She loved to dance to that Old Rock N Roll. She loved horror movies, the scarier the better. If you wanted to see her smile, just give her a chocolate shake. What she loved the most were her kids, grandkids, nieces, and nephews.
She lived in Blackford County and Dunkirk most of her life until moving to Liberty, IN.
She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Melissa J. Reese of Yorktown, Mary A. Latham-Zoll (husband, John) of Bluffton and Suzie Latham (husband, Andrew Updyke) of Englewood, OH; grandchildren, Glen Wilburn, Tiffany Teal, Andrew (wife, Kristy Marie) Riley, Jason Riley, Victoria McClain, Zach Hyer and Leia (husband, Blake) Vires; 8 great-grandchildren; 8 great-grandchild; mother, Colleen Fights of Muncie; sisters, Shirley Sue Wolford of Hartford City and Betty L. Wyatt of Hartford City; several nieces and nephews.
She is also preceded in death by her grandchildren, James Lorne and Dallas Wilburn.
Funeral service will be at 2 pm Friday, December 5, 2025 at Keplinger Funeral Home, 509 N. High St., Hartford City. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery in Eaton.
Visitation will be from 12 pm to 2 pm Friday, December 5, 2025 at Keplinger Funeral Home.
