DUE TO THE ICE STORM THE VISITATION FOR MRS. RADLER HAVE MOVED TO OUR CARPENTER ROAD LOCATION - 2400 CARPENTER ROAD,
ANN ARBOR, MI 48108
Mary "Jeanine" (Evers) Radler of
Ann Arbor, Michigan, passed on to heaven February 18, 2023 at age 86.
Jeanine was born to parents, Edward and Irene (Richards) Evers, in Cincinnati, Ohio where she was raised, and married the love of her life, her surviving husband of 61 years, Richard William Radler.
Jeanine was a beautiful, loving mother to three daughters, Joyce (the late Mark) Robertson, Sally (Michael) Leahy, and Mary (David) Finkel. A sweet, endearing grandmother to three grandchildren, Michael (Kelsey) Finkel, Sarah Robertson, and Ashley Robertson and a dearly precious great-grandmother to great-grandchildren, Cameron Finkel and Logan Finkel.
Jeanine is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Edward Evers.
Jeanine was a beloved 3rd grade teacher at Annunciation Catholic School in Cincinnati until she and Richard began their family. Shortly after the birth of their first child, Jeanine and her husband moved to upstate New York where they proceeded to raise their family and build a small working dairy farm as a "hobby." Eventually they moved to
Ann Arbor, Michigan and have called that home for the following 30-plus years.
Jeanine was a very hard working, multi-talented lady that never sat down until long after the day was done. She truly enjoyed taking care of her husband and family, from all the necessary housekeeping chores and finances, to painting rooms and sewing/mending anything that was needed. She enjoyed planning and preparing the daily lunches and suppers for her family and even worked for years on the funeral luncheon committee for St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Ann Arbor along with her husband, Richard. She was rooted in faith and taught religious education classes for many years.
She loved to garden, and especially loved growing her bountiful multi-colored flowers of all varieties. Riding bicycles with her husband was another all-time favorite, whether biking around their home or packing up the bikes to go to Kensington Park to ride the trails. The Detroit Tigers were her all time favorite baseball team and she and Richard would watch them religiously at home with their big bowl of popcorn! Of course, the whole family was always welcome to join in on all the festivities!
Jeanine will be greatly missed. Her love, happiness, positivity, and authentic kindness that she shared with everyone was cherished and irreplaceable.
