Jeanne Bargy Obituary
Rensselaer - Jeanne C. Bargy, 82, passed away on November 22, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 16, 1943, in Albany, New York, to Alice M. and Arthur T. Bink. Jeanne dedicated many years of service to the New York State Office of Disability Determination. Christmas was her favorite holiday, and above all, family was the most cherished part of her life.
In addition to her parents, Jeanne was predeceased by her husband, Gerald B. Bargy Sr. in 2013. She was also predeceased by her daughter, Linda L. Bargy, and her siblings; John Bink, Alice Matteo, and Debby Bailey.
Jeanne is survived by her children; Wanda (Danny) Cinnamon and Gerald (Lisa) Bargy, Jr.; her sister; Tammy Clarkin; Her adored twenty one grandchildren: Tammy (Richie) Sanford, Shaun (Jessicca) Bargy, Michael Bargy, Jeremy (Nicole) Bargy, Brian Bargy, Jeff (Trish) Dominy, Brandon (Ashleigh) Dominy, Amanda (Ethan) Dominy, Ceiara (Vincent) Rogalio, Amber Kennedy, Gerald (Jennifer) Bargy III, Jesse (Desiree) Bargy; As well as thirty seven great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, and her many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, from 10:00am- 12:00pm, at the W.J. Lyons, Jr. Funeral Home, 1700 Washington Avenue, Rensselaer, NY. A Funeral service will be held at 12:00pm at the funeral home. Interment will immediately follow in Memory Gardens.
