Jeanne Louise Bartleson

North Augusta, SC – Private services will be held for Jeanne Louis Bartleson, 85, who entered into rest August 31, 2025. Ms. Bartleson was born November 4, 1939, in Philadelphia, PA to the late Nathan and Gladys Bartleson. She earned both her bachelor's and master's degree from Penn State University and was a proud Penn State alumna. Ms. Bartleson was a lifelong educator teaching at middle school, high school, college levels as well as in the corporate sector in training and development. She was an avid gardener, enjoyed bird watching was a skilled seamstress and quilter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Carol Jane Bartleson; great-grandson, Roman Samuel Sotherden. Survivors include her three daughters, Deborah McLendon (Marvin), Kristen Van Woert and Diana Brazell (Todd); son, Douglas Van Woert; eight grandchildren, Jason McLendon (Courtney), Lyndsy Browning (Brad), Scott Sotherden (Samantha), Erik Sotherden (Kayla), Amanda Jaques, Jessica Lawing (Justin), Matthew Van Woert and Catherine Van Woert; nine great-grandchildren, Peyton, Savannah, Blaire, Baylee, Zander, Kolter, Everly, Olivia and Elliott; sister, Dorothy Erikson (Harry).
