Jeanne Gertrude Green

Jeanne Gertrude (Bagley) Green passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, September 28, 2025 at Morningside House in Collegeville, PA. She was 95 years old. Jeanne was a former and long-time resident of King of Prussia, PA and a member of Mother of Divine Providence Church.

Born in Chester, PA on June 20, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Gertrude (McLaughlin) Bagley. She was also the beloved wife of the late Morris J. Green, who passed away in 1986.

Jeanne spent many years as a nursery school teacher at Trinity Nursery School in Gulph Mills, Pa. After her husband Morris passed she changed direction and became a personal banker with Core States and the many mergers that followed until her retirement. She was loved by all who met her.

Jeanne was a volunteer at the Upper Merion Senior Center and the Marian's Attic store in King of Prussia, Pa. that supported the Laurel House charity for battered women.

She traveled abroad extensively, which provided many wonderful memories that she loved to share.

Surviving is her loving family including three sons, Christopher Green (Cece), Stephen Green (Stephanie), and John Green (Laurie); two daughters, Ann Ott (Jacques) and Jeannie Barrows (Jay); 13 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and one on the way; as well as many extended family members and friends.

Jeanne is preceded in death by her grandson, Brian Green.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Jeanne's viewing on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Mother of Divine Providence Church from 9:30am to 10:45am. Eulogy will begin at 10:50am with her Funeral Mass beginning at 11:00am. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, W. Conshohocken, PA.
