Jeanne A. Hendrickson

Jeanne A. (nee Deininger) Hendrickson, 57, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 surrounded by her family at her home in Third Lake, IL. She was born December 27, 1967 at Holy Family Hospital in Des Plaines, IL, was a former resident of Northbrook, IL and Lindenhurst, IL, living in Third Lake for the past 23 years. Jeanne received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and was a special needs teacher at Park School in Round Lake, IL and Mary’s Peppermint Stick Preschool in Grayslake, IL. She was also a longtime sales representative for Belle-Aire Fragrances, Inc and was a Cabi Stylist who provided styling advice that helped develop one’s own personal style. Jeanne was a former member of The Chapel in Libertyville and was fondly known as, “Mayor of Grayslake” because of her many friendships and acquaintances throughout the years. She was a lover of large rescue dogs and had many throughout her lifetime, including; Emily, Clooney, Duke and currently her devoted companion until the very end, Daisy. Jeanne will be remembered for her favorite saying, “My idea of the great outdoors is the beer garden” and with that being said, enjoyed entertaining friends and taking family trips to the lake house in Elkhorn, WI where they spent time boating amongst other water sports and also the memorable family trips to Key West & Destin, FL and Nashville, TN.

Surviving is her husband of 23 years, Brice Hendrickson; 2 children, Aidan & Reese Hendrickson; step siblings, Bruce (Kelly) Lang & Donna (Dave) Schabinger; sisters-in-law, Lisa Klein & Paula Hendrickson and by many loving incredible friends and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her mother & stepfather, Barbara & Warren Lang; father, Winton Deininger and by step siblings, Debi Woody & Brian Lang.

A visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. followed by a service at 5:00 p.m. Friday, September 12, 2025 at Burnett-Dane Funeral Home, 120 W. Park Ave. in Libertyville. For those that wish to attend services virtually, a link will be available on the funeral home website. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations would be appreciated to Jeanne’s family as a fund for her children is being established. For info: 847-362-3009 or share a memory at www.burnettdane.com.
