Jeanne Varden

Cumberland – Jeanne A. (Bergeron) Varden, 87, of Mendon Road, Cumberland, died , Saturday February 21, 2026, in The Holiday Nursing Home . She was the loving wife of the late John Varden . Born in Woonsocket, RI, she was the daughter of the late Lionel Bergeron and Helen (Bacon)Bergeron-Ouelette..

Mrs. Varden worked for Bancroft Sporting Goods as a secretary. She also worked at Paramont Press and Ann & Hope. When she was much younger, she worked for Jacob Finklestein & Sons as a stitcher.

Jeanne is survived by her son, Robert W. Richards and his wife Ping of Anchorage, AK; her sister, Florence Bergeron of Lincoln, RI; her son-in-law David Falzarano of Satsuma, FL; her stepson William Varden and his wife Hillary of East Wareham, MA and her step-daughter Rosanna Burke and her husband John of South Yarmouth, MA. She was predeceased by her daughter, Nancy Falzarano, her brother, Edward Bergeron and stepson, Thomas Varden.
