Jeanne M. (Belmonte) Wilder, passed away, accompanied by the love of her family on Tuesday November 18th at Tufts Medical Center of Boston. She was 71. A life-long Medford resident, Jeanne was the daughter of the late George and Frances (Andreottola) Belmonte.

Jeanne lived in Medford her entire life and was a wonderful and devoted daughter, wife, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. A graduate of Medford High School with the class of 1972, Jeanne worked as a key punch operator and later enjoyed a long career with automobile dealerships as an operations manager and handled the complex negotiations with the registry of motor vehicles. Jeanne loved to have a good time with her large extended family and circle of friends. She played bingo and tried her luck at scratch tickets. She loved family functions and holiday dinners. A huge Patriots fan, Jeanne had a welcoming generous spirit and will be missed by all who knew her.

The beloved wife of William S. â??Billyâ? Wilder, with whom she shared 46 years of marriage, Jeanne was the devoted sister of Phyllis DiTocco and her husband Wayne of Wilmington. She was a loving aunt and godmother to Adam DiTocco of Tewksbury and his fiancée Daisy Poliandro. She was the cherished aunt of Laurel Chaison, John Wilder, and Caitlin Reid; and was known as â??Auntie Jeanneâ? to Arianna, Christina and Erica Merullo of Lynnfield. She was a dear sister-in-law to Helen DiLena and her late husband Joseph, and John and Dorothy Wilder. Jeanne also leaves many dear cousins, friends and her beloved dog Maxie.
