Jeannette was born January 15, 1926 to Cecil and Nellie Wright in Leon, Iowa. The family moved to Des Moines in 1931 and Jeannette spent the rest of her life in Des Moines. After graduating High School she worked full time for the Des Moines Public School System as administrative assistant until her retirement. In 1978, Jeannette was united in marriage to Gail Boltinghouse.
Jeannette was an active member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Daughters of the Nile.
Survivors include her daughter, Jo Ellen Aduddell of Des Moines; grandchildren: Andrew Getman and Kathryn "Katy" Getman. Jeannette was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gail.
Memorial contributions may be made to Acanthus Order of the Eastern Star.
