Jeannette Marie Troescher

Jeannette Marie Troescher, 93, a longtime resident of Winooski, Vermont, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at St. Albans Health & Rehab.

Jeannette grew up in Burlington, Vermont, the daughter of Orinda & Edward Bourgeois, and was born on September 2, 1932. She married the love of her life, Walter Troescher, on December 31, 1955, & together they built a loving family & a lifetime of cherished memories.

Jeannette is survived by her four children and their spouses: Margaret and Paul Pratt, Kathy and Kare Herje, Wally and Ann Troescher, and Bill and Denise Troescher. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, Paul Jr., Patrick, Jessica, Brian, Michael, Tyler, Courtney, Trevor, Nicole, Andrew, and Sarah; 18 great-grandchildren: Zachary, Lillian, Eddie, Rosie, Jonathan, William, Maximilian, Vienna, Mason, Briggs, Rogan, Lincoln, Dominic, Ari, Elly, Natalie, Ethan, and Colton; her brother, Arthur, and by many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Jeanette was predeceased by her beloved husband, Walter, and several siblings.

Jeannette enjoyed volunteering for many years at the Fanny Allen Hospital and caring for children in her in-home daycare. She also loved knitting and crocheting. She was well known for her delicious peanut butter fudge and her handmade braided hangers.

Jeannette treasured the time she spent with her friends at the Senior Center.

Donations in Jeannette's honor may be made to St. Albans Health & Rehab Center, in care of the Activity Department.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 21, at 10:00am at St. Francis Xavier Church with burial to follow in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.
