Jeannie Gieger Obituary

JEANNIE RAE GIEGER

November 22, 1951 – January 26, 2025

Bakersfield – God called to heaven a true angel to be by His side on Sunday, January 26, 2025. Jeannie was born November 22, 1951 in Bakersfield,CA. Raised by her loving parents Gino and Eva Ceccarelli.

While attending East High School, she meet her first love and had two children, Carrie and Scott. A little later in life she met her true love Raymond L Gieger. Where together they raised seven children which has been so dear in her heart. Daughters: Carrie, Tonya, Lori and Raelean. Sons: Thomas, Scott and Brian.

Jeannie has never met a stranger. She would talk to anyone she met. Had a love for us all, with absolutely no conditions. Her love for sewing, reading, soaps and music carries on to us all. Jeannie would never ask for anything, but would give anything she had to help out anyone. That is why she will always be our angel flying high, watching over us all.

She is survived by her children,12 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces and friends she considered family. She is greatly cherished and missed. A true mother to us all. We love you so very much, your family.

Jeanie you will be missed greatly. Thank you for being mom to all of us who showed up to your house and loving everyone. We had a lot of great times over the years with you cheering us all on, laughing at our mistakes and snickering when we all thought you weren´t looking. Thanks for being an awesome and wonderful person to all of us. One hundred percent, you were truly one of a kind. You´re loved and missed by many.

Jeannie was an "extra" mom to all of us and looked out for us all as if we were her own kids. She will be sorely missed.

I miss my mother so much it is so hard to live out without her here but she wouldn't want us to be sad she love making people smile but mostly of all she loved us, her children. It's so hard to even accept that she is gone and it is truly sad everyone that knew her is feeling the loss.
