JEANNIE PUZEY Obituary

JEANNIE PUZEY Jeannie Harris Puzey, 73, a loving mother, devoted disciple of Jesus Christ, and gifted artist, returned home to her Heavenly Father on December 1, 2025, in Salt Lake City. She was surrounded by the same love she spent her life giving. Her presence on earth was a light that lifted everyone blessed enough to know her. She was born September 30, 1952, in Salt Lake City, Utah, the second child of Warren J. and Betty Pope Harris. She married Jimmie E. Puzey, her eternal companion, and sweetheart, on August 18, 1972, in the Manti LDS Temple. Together they built a home with laughter, learning, and creativity. She was a loving mother, raising seven children with faith, strength, and devotion to family. Throughout her life she served in many ward callings; each approached with humility, diligence, and genuine care. She had a rare gift for seeing people as the Savior sees them, and countless individuals felt strengthened by her kindness, her listening ear, and her unfailing belief in goodness. Her testimony was steady and vibrant, expressed not only in words but in the way she lived. She and Jim faithfully served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in New Mexico, Farmington (Ft Wingate), an experience that shaped her life and cemented her desire to lift and love people everywhere she went. Her love for art was a constant thread in her life. She loved all of God's beautiful creations and enjoyed bringing them to life. She painted, drew, crafted, and created beauty that reflected the light within her. Her home, her gifts, and her friendships were touched by her creativity. She will be remembered for her compassionate heart, and her unwavering faith. Whether through a quiet act of service, a thoughtful gesture, or simply being present, she lifted others in ways they never forgot. She is survived by her husband and children; Brandon (Marni) Puzey, South Jordan; Heather Patterson, Gunnison; Justin (Leslie) Puzey, Davenport, FL; Brett (Robyn) Puzey, South Jordan; Derek (Camie) Puzey, Annabella; Kinley (Kasha) Puzey, Kaysville; Meghan (Matt) Klaus, Richfield; 26 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren with three on the way; brothers and sisters: Susan (Stanley) Baldwin, Richfield; Carma (Doug) Olsen, St. George; Anita (Duane) Kimber, Morgan; Lisa (Phillip) Burr, Burrville; Jay (Laraine) Harris, St George; DoriAn (David) Campbell, Wellsville; Troy (Allison) Harris, Hernando, Mississippi; Kirk (Nancy) Harris, Richfield; Kris (Wendy) Harris, Vernal. Preceded in death by her parents and sister, Kerri Harris. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 8, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. and a Celebration of Life at 1:30 p.m. at the Richfield 11th Ward Chapel, 1040 South 400 West. A viewing will be held prior to services from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. in the church. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina, and Manti.
