AUBURN - Jeannine Patricia Labonte, 53, of Lewiston, passed away on Friday, July 4, at the Hospice House, after a short battle with cancer, surrounded by her family and friends.
Jeannine was a loving mother, grandmother aunt and friend who will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She enjoyed the simple things in life, spending time with family and friends, sun bathing, shopping and taking care of her plants.
She was a bartender and member of the 20M Club and Pastime Club. She was also a member of the LA National Club. Jeannine absolutely loved her bartending jobs, in which she met many wonderful people who were very dear to her heart.
Jeannine is survived by her soul mate and best friend of 15 years, Richard Nelson; his daughter, Darcy Nelson and her two children, Dakota and Natalia; her loving daughter, Lisa Labonte and her boyfriend, Tim St. Jean; three grandchildren, Jacob Cabral, Caleb Cabral and Tyler Labonte; two nieces, Laurie Labonte and Monica Dube; and one nephew, Marc Montreuil and his fiancée, Victoria Durgan.
Jeannine was predeceased by her mother, Gabrielle; father, Alfred; two brothers, Richard and Ronald Labonte; and her nephew, Justin Labonte.
