Jecenia del Carmen Nunez 53, of
Pleasantville, New Jersey, passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2023. She was born February 28, 1970 in Bronx, New York to Kenia Amarilis (Rosario) and Indalecio Nunez Ortiz.
She attended Colegio Aurora Tavarez Belliard in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic and graduated from Atlantic City High School in 1989. Jecenia attended Shore Beauty School and obtained a certificate in Cosmetology.
Jecenia loved life and enjoyed going to the beach and reading. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed their company.
She was preceded in death by: her father, Indalecio Nunez Ortiz.
Jecenia leaves to cherish her fond memories: her husband, Mauro Andres Ruiz; children, Kiara and Colin Jesse "CJ" Faulkner; mother, Kenia Amarilis Nunez; grandchildren, Anahi Jeanette and Zaydrian Noah delosSantos; siblings, Kenia Nunez-Acuna (Roberto) Indalecio, Jr., Edward, Ana and Kerumi Nunez, Diana Pineda and Lizette Delgado-Polanco (Noel); and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
A visitation will be from 3PM to 6PM Friday, December 1, 2023, at Greenidge Funeral Home, 301 Absecon Boulevard,
Atlantic City, New Jersey.
