Dear Gloria, Wendy, Molly, and Abby,
I was so sorry to hear of the passing of your beloved husband and loving father, Jed. I had the pleasure of working with Jed when he was the Executive Director of the WNY Children's Psychiatric Center (WNYCPC). I still work here and for those of us that were fortunate to have worked with him, we always talk about the "Jed years" with fondness. He was the best Director we ever had. He cared about the kids, their families, and our staff. We were all family then and the care given when he worked here was excellent because of his leadership and dedication.
He always talked about all of you with love, pride, and gratitude. He loved all of you dearly, especially his girls. Proud is too small a word. He worked hard so that you grew up to be amazing young women and was thankful that all of you turned out be such extraordinary women like your Mom.
The last time I spoke to him, he called to let me know our dear friend, Tom Fenush, had passed away. I have faith that there is a special place in Heaven for those who work at WNYCPC because it is not always easy but we are a family and we look out for each other.
I know your husband and dad is in Heaven with your family and our WNYCPC family like Tom & Fran. He is not gone but watching over all of you, especially the grandchildren coming. You all have a special guardian Angel who will never leave your side.

Gloria and girls, I'm so sorry to hear of Jeds passing. I remember his quick wit when I would babysit the girls in QuakerTown. God Bless you all!
