Jed Karl Erickson, 77, of Millville, Delaware, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2025 at his home surrounded by loving family. Before moving to the Bethany Beach area in Delaware 7 years ago, he resided in New Carrollton, Crofton and Bowie, Maryland.Jed was born June 1, 1948 in LaCrosse, Wisconsin, a son of the late Lorraine Mae (Wagner) and Conrad Mack Erickson.
He graduated from DuVal High School in Glendale, MD and the University of Maryland at College Park with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agronomy, then he served his country in the United States Army.He married the love of his life June Ann (Robinson) Erickson on January 16, 1972.
They celebrated 53 years of marriage this year.He started his career in agriculture with Bolgiano’s Seed Company in DC, Hydrolawn, and worked later for Lesco, Reed & Perrine and recently The Anderson, as a national sales executive. He is a long-time member of the American Legion and the Lions Club in Bowie, MD.
Jed was tragically preceded in death by his beloved 22-year-old daughter, Jenna Leigh Erickson in February 2011. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Lorraine (Wagner) and Conrad Erickson and his siblings: Craig, Connie (Erickson) Everett, Todd, Pam and Jill, nephew Ronnie Jr. & niece April Everett.
He is survived by his loving wife and his best friend June (Robinson) Erickson of Millville, DE; his daughter Heidi Prieur (Spencer Scott); his granddaughter Rhiannon Scott of Brooklyn, NY; and many other family, co-workers, customers, and close friends everywhere.
Family and friends and co-workers are invited to a Service of Remembrance on January 3, 2026 at Beall Funeral Home, 6522 Crain Hwy., Bowie, MD 20715 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. immediately followed by a reception at the Knights of Columbus Hall at 6111 Columbian Way, Bowie, MD 20715, from 4 p.m. until….Jed’s ashes will be interned at the Mormon Coulee Cemetery, LaCrosse, Wisconsin at a date yet to be determined in April 2026.
