Jedadiah “Jay” Ward, 40, of Altoona, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on November 11, 2025. Born on August 28, 1985, in Canton, Ohio, Jay lived a life full of laughter, loyalty, and love. Jay was the beloved son of Cheryl and Earnest Ward, and the devoted boyfriend of Audry Behe, with whom he shared a loving home that they poured their hearts into remodeling together. He was a brother to Cody Ward (Shaelyn), Shannon Tidenberg, and Anna Carrol, and a cherished uncle to Levi, Tristan, and Dominic. Jay worked as an Area Supervisor at Blair Image Elements, where his dedication, leadership, and genuine kindness made him deeply respected and admired by everyone who knew him. He was known for his incredible work ethic, determination, and ingenuity. Outside of work, Jay’s passions spoke to who he was — a true car enthusiast who loved his Dodge Challenger, a loyal Cleveland Browns fan, and loving dog dad to, Arty and Samson, and his cat, Jude. He was the kind of person who would do anything for anyone, always putting others before himself and finding joy in helping those around him. Jay touched countless lives with his warmth and authenticity, leaving behind a legacy of compassion and strength that will continue to inspire everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. A celebration of Jay’s life will be held at a later date so that family and friends can come together to honor his memory.
