Jedidiah Cole Marical was born on November 1, 2006, at home in Latta, OK, to Jared and Shannon Marical and lived there all his life. He attended Latta High School, where all of his classmates described him as funny and outgoing. Jed was intelligent and did great in all of his classes. One of his favorite classes was Ag with Mr. Reeves, where he spent time with many of his friends and demonstrated his hard-working ability.
Jed enjoyed playing guitar, singing, powerlifting, hunting, and fishing in his free time. He was active in the local congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses and was always happy to volunteer to help with any project that needed to be accomplished. He excelled at anything he set his mind to. When learning to play guitar, he took some lessons in person but mainly taught himself through YouTube. He was very talented and athletic and even taught himself some auctioneering and impressed everyone at the local FFA Bean and Pie Supper. If there was ever a baby around, you would find Jed waiting impatiently for his turn to hold him. When telling stories of working on a cattle ranch in the summer, Jed was asked if he was singing cowboy songs while working hard in the dust and heat to bail hay. He quickly denied it, saying that he was in an air-conditioned cab with his earbuds in. However, his sister, Molly, will tell you he still was singing and sending her videos of him doing so.
He is survived by parents Jared and Shannon Marical of the home, sister Abigail Skelly and brother-in-law Daniel Skelly of Shawnee, OK; niece Lucy Skelly; sister Eleanor Woods and brother-in-law Ethan Woods of Ada, OK; brother Jack Marical of Norman, OK; sisters Molly and Daisy Marical of the home; Grandparents Chris and Diana Straub of Latta, OK; Teresa Marical of Ada, OK; Aunts and Uncles Rayla and Larry Moore of Bokchito, OK; Philip and Robin Marical of Durant, OK; Darrin and Rebecca Marical of Sulphur, OK; lan and Stephanie Straub of Latta, OK and multiple cousins including Ashton, Rhylind, Adler, and Haydn Straub, Kelsey Munguia, Jillian Marical, Sam Marical, Jude Marical, Natalie Mobbs, Lydia McGinty, and Tyson Mobbs.
He is preceded in death by Grandparents Don and Ella Marical of Ada, OK, Aunt Susan Marice of Latta, OK, Uncle Jonathan Straub of California, and Cousin Chase Marical of Tecumseh, OK.
