Funeral service for Jeffrey Lynn Adams, age 52, of Cullman, will be Thursday, January 9, 2025, at 1 p.m. at Cullman Funeral Home chapel, officiated by Bro. Stephen Hastings. Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 8, 2025, from 5-7 p.m. at the chapel. He will lie in state on Thursday from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Interment will be at Flint Creek Cemetery.

Jeff was born on September 13, 1972, to Bill Adams and Dianne Shedd.
He is survived by his parents, Bill Adams and Dianne (Brent) Shedd; loving wife, Sonya Mabry Adams; one son, Braxton Thompson; daughters, Morgan Adams, Caitlin Adams, Katie Velarde (Tyler), and Mabry Thompson; brother, Nathan Shedd (Megan); sisters, Laura Adams (Amy),Tammy Smith, Mandy Nails (Billy); grandchildren, Saylor Velarde, Jack Velarde, J.B. Velarde (deceased), and Arlow Adams.
Jeff was a hardworking, giving, selfless, lovable, and loving man. His family will remember him as a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, friend, and neighbor. He was truly a friend to all and was so kind to everyone. He worked for the City of Cullman for 25 years and enjoyed his work every day. He was always working on something and loved to be busy with projects. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
